Use the employee's masterfile details.

Use the position's payroll and/or costing defaults.

Payroll and Costing Defaults 15 Blank Always use Payroll and Costing defaults from Position Definition.
Y  

Allow individual selection of Payroll and Costing defaults.

Setting this to Y disables the Apply Position Defaults on Position screen, and displays the following:

  • Default Payroll Group and Default Costing Group on the Hire Wizard; and
  • Payroll Defaults and Costing Defaults on Position screen (within Hire and under Position Information tab).
